A project Created for 2010 Bat-Yam International Biennale of Landscape Urbanism. The concept is to illuminate the construction sites which are 'black holes' in the urban landscape. We hang Ikea 10m diameter Ikea Crinoline style paper light shades using the cranes which are idle during the night time. The Crinolines themselves are created using sailing canvas cut & stitched electronically to fit fiberglass reinforcement.
